Drinking Alcohol Reduces Risk of Stroke

Light-to-Moderate alcohol consumption significantly reduces the overall risk of stroke among men, according to a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

The study of over 22,000 male physicians who were participating in the Physicians Health Study found that health benefits of alcohol consumption occur with as few as one drink per week.
