AMERICAN STUDENTS DRINK LESS THAN OTHERS

A World Health Organization (WHO) report has found that students in the United States don't drink as much alcohol as students in other countries.

The research found, for example, that only 23% of American 15-year-olds consume any alcohol as frequently as once Graph: American students drink less than others a week, compared to over twice that proportion in England (47%), Greece (52%), and Wales (53%).

The report on Health behaviors of school-aged young people was based on a study of 120,000 students.
