The U.S. drug czar has again sounded the alarm. This time he has asserted that one in seven high school students under the age of 18 is partying unsupervised in places like Cancun, where they can drink excessively and engage in sex. However, under pressure from the Boston Herald, the Office of National Drug Policy admitted that it had no evidence whatsoever to support that headline-grabbing assertion.
Earlier, the same office launched its dramatic “drug money funds terrorism” ad campaign to exploit the tragedy of the September 11 terrorist attacks. However, the office has yet to produce any proof of its contention that U.S. drug money has ever gone to Middle Eastern terrorists, according to the Drug Policy Alliance.
How can we trust anything the drug czar or his office says?
